Hello! I am an experienced Universal Pre-K teacher who is ready to help prepare your children for Kindergarten! Ensuring success in school starts before entering and making sure that children are comfortable with the fundamentals.

The greater amount of words a child is exposed to in their first years of life can highly impact their future education. I understand that children need to hear new vocabulary constantly and also be able to understand what those words mean. Reading and writing are a developmental skill that needs to be worked on until a child makes the connection from alphabet knowledge to recognizing print/reading.

Without proper grip strength, handwriting can be a hard skill to master for young children. Working on how to hold a pencil is just as important as learning to write. There are many different steps that a child goes through from first holding a pencil to writing recognizable letters to perfectly writing their own name and I am able to help them every step of the way!

In order to learn, children need to be in a safe and judge free environment. Children will fail at least 50 times before they master a new developmental skill. I understand that childhood education takes a lot of patience and a positive attitude! By continuing to work with children and promoting strong educational values at a young age, I can help prepare your child for Kindergarten and future school success.
