I'm Mimi! I am currently a second-year undergrad student at Binghamton University majoring in Psychology. While I am majoring in Psychology, I have a great interest in history and have taken many history courses throughout my school years. For me, most subjects have come harder to learn and as a child, I almost always needed a tutor. Through my experience, I have learned how to help kids like me who struggle in school and need extra help. I have learned a productive and effective studying strategy that I have taught to other kids and would like to continue sharing.
I have tutored children ages six through twelve in Hebrew for the past three years. I have tutored the most basic of Hebrew like the alphabet, to teaching intermediate levels of reading, writing, and conversation. I have taken Hebrew classes for thirteen years which includes higher level classes in college.
In the past 2 years, I have tutored multiple students in history. I have tutored both American History and Global History. I have taken AP and college courses in American History and American Government.
I want to help students as much as I had been helped while having tutors in school. While I am not a professional teacher, my experience with tutoring, both being tutored and tutoring other kids, has made me able to provide help for students who need extra help outside of school.
