During my time at college, I became head tutor at the university writing center, and take tutoring and mentoring very seriously. While I did not ultimately complete my MFA, I did work as a teaching assistant for first-year English students during my time at the University of Florida, and also taught classes to high schoolers on the volunteer level. Teaching the English language is my passion, and I love getting to know and help students on an individual level.
