My name is Harry, and I'm here to get you into medical school!

I'm a fourth year MD/PhD student at New York Medical College, studying cancer immunology. Previously, I graduated from Brown University, receiving honors in Biomedical Engineering.

I've tutored throughout college for students of all ages, and currently serve as a graduate instructor in medical microbiology and neuroanatomy. I am also an academic director of PHEP, NYMC's pre-medical outreach program, which provides intensive structure and preparation for a few post-graduate students every year. Through my experiences teaching and creating curricula, I'm ready to bring your studying to the next level.

I specialize in teaching the MCAT, with particular focus on the C/P section. I offer a foundational content review series to give students a full understanding of physics and chemistry from the basics, with a regimented lesson plan and review problems designed to unlock that notoriously tricky section.

As a current student, I also understand the pressure of the application process as a whole. I would be glad to elevate your AMCAS/AACOMAS applications and help you craft the perfect personal statement!

I scored a 525 on the MCAT in April of 2022, a score within the top 1% of test takers, which demonstrates my comprehensive command of the subject matter. I am furthermore an Honors biomedical engineering graduate from an accredited engineering program at Brown University, and have extensive research and teaching experience from college, post graduation, and in medical/grad school that accentuates my abilities to tutor the material on the MCAT expertly.

I am a fourth year MD/PhD student studying cancer immunology and microbiology in the setting of immunotherapies and infectious disease. I extensively study the mechanisms of innate and adaptive immunity towards a therapeutic footing, and help to develop leading innovations in cancer treatment. Most knowledgeable tutor I've had

I've been working with Harry for about 3 months on the MCAT, focusing mainly on the Physics and CARS sections while going through practice questions together. He is very thorough in his Physics explanations, and his background as an engineer helped me understand new concepts more easily. Learning from Harry's thought process and hearing his explanations has made me a more effective reader and boosted my confidence in identifying and eliminating trap answers. He is also a very patient, kind and understanding tutor, and our sessions have helped me land a 515 on my first full-length. I am confident that we’ll be able to bring it up to a 520+ over the next few weeks. I highly recommend working with him.
