Hi there! My name is Harry, and I hope to help you achieve your medical school dreams!
I'm a current MD/PhD student at New York Medical College, studying immunology and microbiology for my dissertation. Prior to medical school, I attended Brown University, where I graduated with honors in biomedical engineering. My career thus far wouldn't have been possible without extensive mentorship and guidance by faculty and peers, and so I hope to help others on their path towards higher education as well.
I've tutored extensively since high school, both as a private academic tutor and as a TA in introductory and graduate level engineering courses. I teach a plethora of topics such as Biology, Spanish, English, and Calculus, and specialize in teaching the MCAT. I've developed an individually tailored, focused approach to my students so that they not only learn the necessary material but also gain a greater understanding of the reasoning behind concepts they find challenging. I want to put my accumulated skills as an engineer, biologist, and physician in training towards helping you do the best that you can in your studies, exams, and beyond.
As a current student, I understand deeply the stress and uncertainty that surrounds medical school admissions, and would gladly offer my support where I can to help you reach your schools. I am more than happy to provide assistance outside of direct studying towards application planning, discussion, and primary/secondary essay review.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
