Bio

I started my career in Management Consulting and went on to earn my MBA from MIT Sloan and a Master's in Engineering from MIT. I work on a Data & Analytics Strategy team for a Fortune 100 company now, and I also enjoy working with students and professionals who are looking for new roles - whether that is a first job out of school or finding a role as an experienced hire.

I started my career in Management Consulting and went on to earn my MBA from MIT Sloan and a Master's in Engineering from MIT. I work on a Data & Analytics Strategy team for a Fortune 100 company now, and I also enjoy working with students and professionals who are looking for new roles - whether that is a first job out of school or finding a role as an experienced hire.

I work with students and professionals in three main areas:

-Case Interview Preparation: For candidates interviewing for Management Consulting, or other types of analytical roles which involve a case interview, I work with candidates at all levels of preparation. Many just landed their first case interview and don't know where to start, while others have practiced for weeks but want to polish their skills before a Final Round interview. I explain the purpose of the case interview and what interviewers look for (which differs between companies), the structure of the interview, and how to succeed. I love running mock case interviews and give very detailed feedback to candidates.

I also prepare candidates thoroughly for behavioral interviews, which often help push a candidate across the bar. Do not underestimate the importance of being prepared for the 'typical' questions (e.g. "Tell me about yourself?") and having a few stories ready to go about times that you succeeded, failed, demonstrated leadership, etc. I promise that you will be very familiar with the STAR framework after we meet!

-Resume & Cover Letter Writing: For candidates earlier in their job search, we can polish your resume and write a cover letter which you can adapt to multiple roles. I have a number of professional templates we can use to efficiently write a compelling resume.

-Program Applications: I work with students applying to all graduate and undergraduate programs, though I tend to mostly attract those applying to business programs. I have supported students preparing their personal statements for MBA programs, admissions interviews, and GMAT/GRE test prep.

I worked as a Management Consulting at a global firm for 3+ years, managing teams delivering projects and developing proposals for clients. I went on to earn my MBA from MIT, and currently work on a Data & Analytics Strategy team at a Fortune 100 company. I've been exposed to all types of companies while Consulting and in Business School, from Private Equity Portfolios, Startups, Tech, to Fortune 100 companies; this breadth has given me great perspective and experience to help others with business issues.

Working in management consulting means I have gone through a rigorous recruitment process consisting of networking, case interviewing, and behavioral interviews. Within my firm, I have navigated the promotion cycle, advised others, and conducted interviews for new hires. In thinking about my own career development, I applied to competitive MBA programs and was accepted to Northwestern Kellogg and MIT Sloan; I am currently a business student at MIT Sloan.

Each year for the past 5 years, I work with those applying to colleges and graduate programs on their applications. This begins with finding their unique, truthful story to tell the admissions team and then understanding how it fits into essays and other application materials (such as recommendations). Outcomes have been very successful for those I have worked with, and I have worked closely with students interested in STEM fields.

As a management consultant, I ran PMO for large engagements across multiple workstreams and functions. For example, rolling out optimization software to a network of over 500 warehouses. As part of this, I kept stakeholders informed through standardized updates (both developing documentation and giving recurring presentations).

I spent over three years as a management consulting, leading weekly meetings for groups of 10+ participants including executives. In my personal life, I have told stories at public events for audiences of 200+ and even done Standup. From speaking in a variety of settings, I've learned the importance of preparation, the best methods to set oneself up for success, and how to edit speeches to be able to deliver them naturally.

I have had a few sessions with Miles and he has helped me a lot!! We started with improving my resume by going through each point and then going over cover letters, he gave me lots of tips on how to prepare for consulting interviews.
