Hi there! My name is Netta, and I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where I earned a GPA of 3.94.
My passion for environmental science began in middle school, and it has only grown stronger over the years. I’m now preparing to apply to PhD programs and begin my professional journey in the field.
I have extensive experience with research-based projects as well, particularly focused on water quality and environmental health. I’m especially excited about the opportunity to share my love for science with others and to inspire the next generation of environmental thinkers. As a result, I am very comfortable teaching elementary and middle school level environmental sciences, ecology, and writing at any level.
As someone who used to be an anxious learner, I approach my students with patience and compassion.
I enjoy working with my students in helping them create an individualized learning plan. Everyone has a unique approach to studying, and I look forward to developing one utilizing your skills and methods while introducing new ones of my own. If you are interested in hands-on and visual learning experiences, I am the tutor for you!
I look forward to working together to make your learning experience an enjoyable one. Please feel free to message me regarding any questions! :)
