Hello! I graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs. Since then, I switched careers and became a paramedic, which I've been doing for about 9 years. I am also a veteran, and deployed as a medic to Afghanistan. Currently, I am in Physician Assistant's School.

I work with students in a variety of subjects. I primarily work with EMT, Paramedic, and healthcare students in a number of areas, including NREMT test preparation and the core NREMT learning/teaching modules. I truly enjoy seeing my students succeed, as well as helping future EMS providers become accomplished and knowledgeable professionals. Additionally, I also tutor students for prep work with the AP History courses; I find this use of my writing and previous academic skills to both be intellectually stimulating and genuinely fun.

My goal in my tutoring is to help build a student's knowledge framework, and help them use it to extrapolate through a problem. I enjoy discussion-based teaching, as well as using a single problem or set to explore several concepts to ensure students are maximizing their time spent with me. I tutor to make sure the student is meeting learning objectives, not simply getting as many questions right as possible.

I am fairly flexible with my times and formats for tutoring, and I openly encourage feedback and critique from students and parents. If you have questions, concerns, or are exploring getting tutoring sessions for yourself or a loved one, please feel free to reach out to me. Please note that due to a rotating schedule, my availability often changes as well. Hope to hear from you soon!
