I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology and am currently a medical student, where I use anatomy, physiology, and core biological principles on a daily basis. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in cellular and molecular biology, systems physiology, and human anatomy, and I enjoy helping students connect concepts rather than relying on memorization alone. I tutor high school and college students, including those in pre-health or STEM tracks who are looking to strengthen their understanding or prepare for exams.
My teaching experience includes one-on-one tutoring and peer teaching in academic settings, where I focus on identifying knowledge gaps and adapting explanations to each student’s learning style. I emphasize active learning strategies such as guided problem-solving and verbal walkthroughs to help students build confidence and retain material long-term. I aim to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and thinking out loud.
I offer online tutoring only, which allows for flexible scheduling and focused sessions. Whether a student needs ongoing support throughout a course or targeted help before an exam, I tailor each session to their goals and current level of understanding. My objective is not just to help students succeed in a single class, but to give them tools and study strategies they can continue to use independently.

Approved Subjects

ACT Science

ACT Science

I help students prepare for the ACT Science section by strengthening data interpretation, experimental reasoning, and time management skills. My background in medical and life sciences training allows me to break down complex graphs and research summaries into manageable steps. I teach students how to quickly identify variables, understand study design, and eliminate incorrect answer choices efficiently. My approach emphasizes strategy and clarity under timed conditions.
Anatomy

Anatomy

I am a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University with formal training in gross anatomy and clinically integrated neuroanatomy. My coursework emphasizes structure–function relationships, spatial reasoning, and application to injury and disease. I help students move beyond memorization by organizing anatomy into clear frameworks that connect location, structure, and clinical relevance. My tutoring focuses on visualization, pattern recognition, and predicting functional outcomes based on anatomy.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I am a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University with training in neurodevelopment and experience supporting neurodivergent learners. Using personal experience as a neurodivergent learner, I focus on creating structured, clear, and supportive learning environments that meet each student’s individual needs, including those on the Autism Spectrum. While my tutoring can cover academic content from science courses to neuroanatomy, I emphasize strategies that make learning more accessible and manageable for neurodivergent students. My approach combines evidence-based teaching with understanding of diverse learning styles to help students build confidence and mastery.
Biochemistry

Biochemistry

I have completed medical-level biochemistry coursework covering metabolism, enzyme kinetics, bioenergetics, and molecular structure. My tutoring focuses on connecting biochemical pathways to their functional purpose and regulation rather than memorizing steps in isolation. I help students understand how molecular structure influences reactivity and how metabolic pathways integrate across systems. My sessions emphasize high-yield concepts, pathway flow, and application to exam-style questions.
Biology

Biology

I am a medical student with a strong background in cellular and molecular biology, including gene expression, metabolism, and membrane dynamics. My training emphasizes understanding mechanisms rather than memorizing isolated facts. I help students identify inputs, outputs, and regulatory controls within biological systems so they can apply concepts to unfamiliar exam questions. My approach builds structured reasoning skills that translate across introductory and advanced biology courses.
Genetics

Genetics

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology and am currently a medical student, where genetics is a core component of my coursework and clinical foundations. My academic training includes molecular genetics, Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance, gene expression, and genotype–phenotype relationships. I have experience helping high school and college students understand genetic concepts through one-on-one tutoring and peer teaching, with an emphasis on problem-solving and application-based learning. I focus on building conceptual clarity so students can confidently approach exams and coursework.
Microbiology

Microbiology

My medical training includes microbiology topics such as bacterial structure, viral replication, host–pathogen interactions, and antimicrobial mechanisms. I help students organize microorganisms by structure, transmission, and pathophysiology to reduce memorization overload. I emphasize understanding mechanisms of infection and immune response so students can reason through exam scenarios. My tutoring integrates classification, clinical relevance, and pattern recognition.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

I am a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University who recently completed medical school–level applied neuroanatomy with strong academic performance. My training emphasizes functional and clinical integration, including lesion localization, neuroimaging correlation, and neurovascular pathways. I specialize in breaking down complex neuroanatomy into organized, high-yield frameworks that make difficult concepts more intuitive. Whether you are preparing for undergraduate neuroscience exams or medical coursework, I focus on building true conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I am a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University with firsthand experience navigating the medical school application process. I help students craft personal statements that clearly communicate their experiences, motivations, and goals while maintaining authentic voice and strong structure. My approach emphasizes clarity, storytelling, and alignment with admissions expectations. I work with students to refine drafts, develop compelling narratives, and ensure their statements are both memorable and professional.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I am a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University with coursework in pharmacology and therapeutics, including mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, and clinical applications. I focus on helping students understand drug classes, interactions, and dosing principles through clear explanations and high-yield frameworks. My tutoring approach emphasizes conceptual understanding over memorization, integrating examples from clinical practice and case scenarios when relevant. I work with both undergraduate and medical students to strengthen knowledge, problem-solving skills, and application in exams or coursework.
Physical Science

Physical Science

I have a strong foundation in general chemistry principles, including atomic structure, bonding, thermodynamics, equilibrium, and acid–base chemistry. I help students build conceptual understanding of core variables such as energy, charge, and concentration rather than relying solely on equations. My approach focuses on problem-solving strategies, dimensional analysis, and step-by-step reasoning. I work with students to develop confidence in both conceptual and calculation-based questions.
Physiology

Physiology

As a medical student, I have completed integrated coursework in cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and endocrine physiology. I focus on helping students track variables such as pressure, flow, gradients, and feedback loops to understand how systems respond to change. Rather than relying on memorization, I teach cause-and-effect reasoning and compensatory mechanisms. My goal is to help students predict physiologic outcomes logically and confidently on exams.
Psychology

Psychology

My medical education includes foundational coursework in behavioral science, neurobiology, and cognitive processes. I help students understand psychological theories by linking them to underlying biological and behavioral mechanisms. Rather than memorizing terms alone, I emphasize conceptual clarity, real-world application, and comparison between models. My tutoring supports both introductory psychology coursework and exam preparation.
