I have a B.S. in Chemistry with minors in Math and English from SUNY Brockport, where I graduated with a 3.65 GPA and received several scholarships, including the Chemical Science Merit Scholarship, the Excelsior Scholarship, and the Dr. Marie Dellas & Poppy Dellas Scholarship. I’m now pursuing a Master’s in Data Science, which builds on my love for problem-solving and analysis.
I’ve been tutoring for over four years, working with students from middle school through college. My experience includes one-on-one sessions, small group lessons, and classroom and lab support, as well as volunteer tutoring for underprivileged groups. I’ve helped students with chemistry (introductory through advanced), algebra, calculus, statistics, writing, and literature.
When I tutor, I focus on meeting students where they are. I break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, connect ideas to real-world examples, and build confidence along the way. My goal is not only to help students succeed in their coursework but also to spark an appreciation for the complexity and beauty of our world. Above all, I want students to leave our sessions feeling capable and excited.
