Alongside my studies, I’ve gained hands-on research experience through a Department of Energy fellowship, as well as prior work in local water quality projects. These opportunities have not only strengthened my skills in science and data analysis, but also honed my ability to clearly explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience, ranging from one-on-one settings to small group mentorship. At Syracuse, I’ve worked as a statistics tutor and as a peer leader for first-year programs, helping students build confidence in quantitative reasoning, writing, and study strategies. My approach is centered on patience and adaptability—I like to meet students where they are, break down material into manageable steps, and encourage active learning through practice and discussion.
The students I’ve worked with have ranged from high school to college level, and I’ve supported both those looking to catch up as well as those aiming to excel.
