I have been a teacher and tutor for 10 years. I have worked with many subjects and different levels of students. I started as a high school history teacher, but I soon realized that I enjoyed working with students of different backgrounds. I went back to school to become a TESOL teacher. In the mean time, I worked with 0-5 year olds on building blocks of learning and with migrant workers. Soon I was working as an advocate in schools from migrant children, tutoring them at home and in school....

In the mean time, I worked with 0-5 year olds on building blocks of learning and with migrant workers. Soon I was working as an advocate in schools from migrant children, tutoring them at home and in school. My first job was as a history teacher for students who spoke languages other than English. It was challenging but I learned how teach complex material in the most simple terms. I also learned how to teach reading and writing very clearly and effectively. I was incredibly successful in this, to the point that many of my students were able to pass rigorous state exams even with low levels of English. My greatest desire is to help people succeed and I hope to do the same for you!
