I recently graduated from the City College of New York with a major in Economics and a minor in Computer Science, and I currently work as an analyst at a large technology company. Throughout my academic career, I consistently earned high grades and graduated on the Dean’s List, but more importantly, I developed a strong ability to break down complex material into clear, understandable ideas. Studying economics and computer science side by side taught me how to think analytically while also communicating technical concepts in a practical, approachable way.
I have several years of tutoring experience working with K–12 students as well as helping classmates and peers throughout high school and college. Much of my tutoring has been one-on-one, allowing me to adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style and pace. Because I learned early on how to teach myself difficult material, I’m very familiar with the common points where students get stuck and how to work through them. I focus on building strong foundations, correcting misunderstandings early, and helping students gain confidence so they can eventually succeed independently.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my emphasis on long-term understanding rather than short-term memorization. I measure success by watching students go from feeling lost to being able to explain concepts on their own and perform confidently in class. I’m patient, clear, and results-oriented, and I genuinely enjoy helping students realize they are more capable than they initially believe. My goal is always to make learning feel manageable, logical, and ultimately rewarding.
