Hey friend! I’m currently an MA candidate at Yeshiva University, concentrating in early modern Jewish History. I graduated from Yeshiva with my B.A. in History in May 2025, and I received an award for Excellence in Jewish Studies at graduation. I love to travel, read, be out in nature, and play music. One of my favorite activities when I travel is to immerse myself in the locals' history and learn something new; for example, I recently traveled to Iceland, where I learned about the Icelanders' experiences during World War II.
I’m looking primarily to tutor at the high school or college level, but I’m also open to middle school. In my opinion, the best way to learn history is to present it as an epic story, worthy of being turned into a movie, rather than just a series of names, dates, and facts to memorize. I find all history interesting, but I'm most confident in United States, European, and Jewish history. Additionally, I find local history to be a great teaching method. I'd be happy to research your area (if I don't know about it yet) and tie that into what we are learning!
