Hi there,
I am currently working full-time in public accounting with over a year of professional experience, and I have successfully passed 3 out of 4 parts of the CPA exam. In addition to my professional background, I completed a rigorous accounting curriculum that included courses such as Income Tax I & II, Auditing, Intermediate Accounting I & II, Governmental and Non-Profit Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Advanced Accounting. These classes, combined with real-world experience, have given me a strong foundation in both the technical and practical sides of accounting.
My tutoring style is patient, structured, and focused on making difficult concepts clear. I understand that accounting can feel overwhelming at first, so I work to break down material into manageable steps that build on each other. I also tailor my approach to each student’s learning style, whether that means walking through practice problems step-by-step, reviewing theory in detail, or providing real-world examples to make concepts more understandable.
That said, I believe tutoring works best when students take an active role in the process. To make the most of our time together, I expect students to:
- Come prepared with specific questions, topics, or practice problems.
- Share any relevant class notes, homework, or exam materials ahead of time if possible.
- Be willing to engage, practice, and ask questions during our sessions.
My goal is to help you not only succeed in your classes or exams but also gain confidence in your ability to apply accounting concepts beyond the classroom and independently.
Feel free to message me with any questions!
