I graduated from CUNY College of Staten Island with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, where I completed extensive coursework in biology and related health science subjects. My academic experience emphasized understanding complex scientific concepts, applying them in problem-solving contexts, and communicating ideas clearly. Through my studies, I developed a strong foundation in core biology topics and gained insight into the challenges students commonly face when learning dense, exam-heavy material.
In addition to my academic background, I have experience working with high school and college-level students in one-on-one learning settings. I support students preparing for exams, quizzes, labs, and prerequisite courses by breaking down material step-by-step and identifying gaps in understanding early. My tutoring approach focuses on clarity and structure, helping students move beyond memorization to truly understand how concepts connect. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s needs, learning pace, and course requirements.
I strive to create a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. I am organized, responsive, and committed to helping students develop strong foundations and effective study strategies they can use independently. Whether a student needs ongoing support throughout a course or focused review before an exam, my goal is to help them feel more confident and successful in biology and health science subjects.
