I graduated cum laude from Baruch College with a degree in Financial Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. My studies included calculus, probability, linear algebra, data analysis, and algorithms. Because of this background, I’m comfortable tutoring math at many levels, from building strong fundamentals to helping students work through more advanced topics.
I’ve spent several years working with students in different learning environments. I’ve tutored elementary and middle school students one-on-one in math and reading, helping them strengthen core skills and gain confidence in school. I’ve also worked as a college math tutor, supporting students in calculus and probability by explaining concepts step by step and helping them prepare for exams. In addition, I currently work as a NYC public school substitute teacher for grades K–5, where I manage classrooms, adapt lessons, and support students with different learning needs.
When I tutor, I focus on patience, clarity, and encouragement. I take time to understand how each student thinks, explain ideas in a simple way, and make sure they feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand the material and feel more confident in their abilities over time.
