Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! I am an honors student in my final semester of medical school with more than seven years of tutoring experience across multiple subjects and levels. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a teaching assistant in biology, chemistry, math, and English, working with both high school and college students. In medical school, I spent three years as a teaching assistant for anatomy, physiology, and pathology, helping first- and second-year students succeed in demanding coursework. I also worked for a private tutoring company for two years, where I specialized in MCAT preparation, USMLE-style questions, and advanced college science classes. These roles have allowed me to teach students ranging from middle school through graduate school, in both one-on-one and classroom settings.

My approach is personalized and supportive, designed to adapt to each student’s learning style. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and emphasize high-yield strategies for exams. I incorporate active learning, practice questions, and test-taking skills so that students leave each session with greater confidence and stronger problem-solving ability. Students often share that I make challenging concepts feel approachable and less overwhelming, and I take pride in creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and thinking critically.

If you are looking for a tutor who understands the challenges of rigorous coursework and knows how to simplify the process, I would be excited to work with you. My goal is to help students master their material, build confidence, and achieve both their academic and professional goals.

Biochemistry

Biochemistry

I’m a fourth-year medical student with over 5 years of tutoring experience. In medical school, I completed advanced coursework in biochemistry and applied it directly to physiology, pathology, and clinical medicine. Because of that, I can explain both the foundational concepts (enzymes, metabolism, molecular biology) and how they connect to real-world applications. I focus on making complex topics clear, memorable, and tailored to each student’s learning style.
Biology

Biology

As a fourth-year medical student, I have a strong foundation in biology through years of studying subjects like cell biology, genetics, physiology, and microbiology, core areas that are deeply integrated into medical education. My experience allows me to not only understand these topics at a high level but also explain them in a way that connects biological principles to real-life applications in health and disease. Through peer mentoring and clinical teaching, I’ve developed the ability to break down complex material into clear, approachable concepts, making me well-prepared to teach biology in a way that is both engaging and informative for students.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

I am a fourth-year medical student and English minor with extensive experience in professional interviews, residency applications, and essay writing. I help students craft clear, structured, and compelling essays, and develop confident, authentic responses for interviews. I aim to help students reduce anxiety, refine their communication skills, and present themselves at their best.
Genetics

Genetics

As a fourth-year medical student, I have a strong foundation in human genetics, including molecular genetics, inheritance patterns, and genetic disorders. I’ve studied genetics in both academic and clinical settings, with a focus on how it applies to patient care and diagnostic decision-making. I can break down complex topics like gene expression, mutations, and genetic testing in a clear and relatable way. Whether you're preparing for exams or trying to master foundational concepts, I can help you succeed in genetics
MCAT

MCAT

I am a fourth-year medical student with a B.S. in Biology and scored in the top percentile on the MCAT. I have advanced training in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, and physiology, which allows me to teach both content and reasoning skills tested on the MCAT. I have tutored pre-med students in passage-based strategies, experimental analysis, and time management, helping them improve both scores and confidence. My research and clinical experience provide practical insight into biological processes, which I incorporate into tutoring to make complex concepts clear and applicable.
Microbiology

Microbiology

I’m a fourth-year medical student with over 5 years of tutoring experience. Through my medical coursework, I’ve studied microbiology in depth and applied it clinically, so I’m very comfortable breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. I also tailor lessons to each student’s learning style to make sure the material sticks.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

As a fourth-year medical student, I have a comprehensive understanding of neuroscience, including neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and clinical neurology. I've applied this knowledge during clinical rotations, particularly in neurology and psychiatry, where I’ve seen firsthand how neural systems relate to behavior and disease. I’m skilled at simplifying complex topics like neural pathways, neurotransmitters, and brain function. I enjoy helping students build a solid foundation in neuroscience for exams or deeper understanding.
Nursing

Nursing

As a fourth-year medical student, I have extensive clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in patient care. I have helped nursing students in the past, guiding them through complex medical concepts, applying them in practical scenarios, and building their confidence in studies.
