I’m a professional educator with over a decade of experience helping students improve their writing, sharpen their public speaking, and gain confidence in English. I hold a Master of Divinity and a Bachelor’s in Social Work, and I’ve taught public speaking and general communications at the college level as an adjunct instructor. I also have extensive experience tutoring students in writing, grammar, and ESL—working with everyone from middle schoolers to adults.

My approach is student-centered, practical, and encouraging. I begin by identifying your specific goals, then tailor our sessions to build the skills you need—whether that’s writing stronger essays, preparing an effective presentation, or improving grammar and fluency. For ESL students, I focus on real-world vocabulary, conversational confidence, and grammar support that aligns with your personal and professional needs. For writing students, we work together to build clarity, structure, and voice. And for public speaking, I help you find confidence through preparation, feedback, and practical techniques.

I’ve worked in both classroom and one-on-one settings, and I understand how to meet students where they are. My goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped—not just to pass a class or deliver a speech, but to grow as a communicator. I look forward to helping you write better, speak stronger, and think deeper.

Very helpful lesson

AJ brought up a lot of tips/tricks/advice that I think will be very helpful in managing my anxiety in meetings and presentations. Over all it was a very good start and hoping to learn a lot more in future lessons.
