I’m a passionate educator with more than 10 years of experience. With a bachelor’s in Art History from Wellesley College and a Master’s in Education from Bank Street College of Education, I’ve gained expertise in various subject areas with a focus in humanities. These include English, history, art history, social studies, and Italian language. As a tutor, I’m patient and understanding and always try to personalize my lessons to fit the particular needs and interests of the individual student. My goal is to inspire the student and motivate them to achieve their academic goals, supporting them each step of the way.

Having intensely studied Italian in college and then lived in Bologna, Italy for a year, I have developed great conversational proficiency in the language and love sharing the country’s language, culture, history, and traditions with my students.

History is a particular passion of mine as I’ve always been curious about the way people lived through the centuries before us. Through stories and images, I love making history come alive for my students, so that it’s not just a boring series of facts or dates but an exciting, relatable adventure.
