I have 4 years of experience teaching the Common Core Curriculum. Since my freshman year of high school, I had studied Maths/English as a Common Core student in NYC. I have also tutored core math since the inception of the new standards, and aware of its content and patterns. When I tutor students in Common Core Math, I review the applicable NYS Common Core Learning Standards for Mathematics and begin with an official assessment that includes: Short responses and nuances of the exam that tricks most students in order to identify the areas with the greatest potential for improvement. I have scored 90+ in all my New York State Math Regents Exam and helped others receive an excellent score as well.
COOP/HSPT

COOP/HSPT

I have tutored students for the COOP/HSPT/TACHS exam, where I teach them the hidden or secret strategies of the test. These tests are difficult, many times they test skills that the student has not learned in school. It requires thorough preparation and content refresher. I scored 770 out of 800 on the SAT Math and have a strong knowledge of mathematics covering all areas of the COOP/HSPT. I am patient and communicate well and will do my best to help you master the material. I teach intuitively, providing examples and explanations. Using proprietary techniques, I can help my students score higher with practice.

My mother tongue language is Hindi and I have been speaking and writing Hindi since I was 2 years old. I did my schooling back in India till the age of 15, and Hindi as one of our core subjects. I have enough experience to teach someone how to write, read, and speak Hindi fluently.

I have tutored elementary and middle school kids between 8-16 ages in Math, Science, and English. In my teaching experience, I had received many positive outcomes from the student and the parents. I noticed students learn better when they are homeschooled because they receive the right knowledge and proper guidance. I helped a student of mine who did exceptionally well in the state examinations compare to when he was in school. Despite this, he had ADHD through a better learning curriculum; he learned the content more efficiently in a shorter period. I always try to make things easier and used strategies or tricks to simplify things feasibly. For example, when teaching math I incorporate Vedic maths that helps students to compute numbers in a matter of seconds. Which eventually strengthen your mental skills to a higher level. I am confident and have enough experience to teach students and help them succeed.

I have been playing soccer since I was 12 years old and have enough experience to train someone. I have participated in varsity games from my High School team and won several games competing at the district level. I look forward to continuing to play soccer in college as well.

I have been swimming ever since I was 12. I'd love to help others in learning how to swim and enjoy water during their summer vacation. I have experience in swimming and teaching different styles of strokes, which include the Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle, Sidestroke, and butterfly and dolphin. I also competed in high school for summer competitions at the district level.

Shriyansh is a very knowledgeable and patient tutor. Shriyansh is an excellent tutor. He is very patient and uses age appropriate approaches to learning. My daughter is 5 and is doing multiplication, fractions and long division. She has enjoyed her time with him. He will be her math tutor as long as he continues to tutor.

Sriyansh is knowledgeable and very helpful! He came prepared to help my almost 8th grader with Math and also taught him tricks on the calculator which my son found very helpful.
