Building rapport is a priority for me; I understand that academic performance is often tied to emotional and mental wellbeing. By creating a supportive but focused environment, I help students stay motivated and confident while reaching their academic goals.

Whether it’s connecting history to current events, using pop culture to explain a theory, or simplifying a difficult grammar rule, I ensure material feels accessible and relevant. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in communication, culture, and analysis, but it’s my years of teaching that have made me patient, adaptable, and highly effective. I’ve guided students preparing for exams, professionals strengthening their writing and communication skills, and learners seeking to build confidence in subjects that once felt overwhelming. With 4 years of college under my belt, six months of which were spent in Turkey & 5 months spent in Brasil, I accumulated a vast array of knowledge regarding biological anthropology. Trying to understand how the development of different races impacted societal growth and how traditions, culture, religion, politics, and economy were involved as well!

With my brother as an ordained minister, I was heavily involved in discussing religion on deeper integrated levels with him, seeking knowledge & understanding of the scripture from not only a baptist perspective, but from the different sects of Christianity. I furthered my curiosity by spending a considerable amount of time studying Islam in college, where I not only had the chance to use those studies when I lived in Turkey to study but where I also gained relationships & experiences fueled by religious intentioned and maintained through mutual respect & acceptance.
