I've got years of experience tutoring individuals professionally in mathematics and English composition. In fact, I've been a tutor on-and-off since I was in high school. I've worked both independently and through Dutchess Community College. I've dealt with elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and adult education students. I've also done work proofreading essays and original compositions. I've always found tutoring to be both enjoyable and rewarding. I love kids, but get along equally well with people of any age.

My own interests lie particularly with Literature and History, though I've always done very well with Maths and Sciences (and that is where a significant chunk of my experience lies). I've even volunteered as a docent and given tours of a historically significant building while wearing period appropriate clothing. I'm a friendly, helpful, and patient tutor. I'm also looking forward to working with any new students who are interested in my services.

He passed the second mastery assessment!

Our school district requires an 8/10 score on a mastery assessment in math 3 x’s/semester. It’s pass or fail, minimum to pass is 80%. Our son had one lesson (Algebra II/Trigonometry) and passed the assessment with a 100%! He has another, regular, exam this week and we are scheduled again. Hoping we can get his grade up before the end of the semester.
