I am unlike most "CPA Tutors" on here in that I focus on the planning and study strategy phase almost exclusively. I believe that a proper study plan & path to execute is much more critical to success than having a tutor to work problems with. My service is designed to be one initial session geared towards a custom study plan and a distillation of the study techniques that allowed me to pass all section on attempt 1 (3 scores 91+) while actually maintaining a work/life balance. Any future sessions are at the student's request, as many like to have a "progress pal" to help with accountability.
My session price is at a premium compared to others here. This is because most of my clients only work with me 1-3 times and then go on to pass their sections. I package my entire process into session 1 so that you get the value immediately and are not chained to my timeline and bleeding money. I promise you, that if you are reading this, you have the technical competency and intelligence to pass this exam. You do not need a tutor to work problems with (you are paying twice for the exact service that your study prep materials provide!), I contend that you need an actionable, achievable, and custom-to-you plan to execute. Whether you're just starting a section or in the middle of prep feeling hopeless, I'd like to help you achieve what I know you can! In short, I view my service as an investment in yourself.
For background, I am a CPA and college accounting instructor (Principles, Financial, Managerial, and Tax). I have a Master (MAcc) and a BBA in Accounting, earned with a 4.0 GPA. I passed the CPA Exam while still in college also. I bring professional experience in AI, taxation, audit, and client accounting services (CAS), which allows me to connect accounting concepts to real-world practice. I am currently pursuing my PhD in accounting education and have been tutoring students at all levels since 2021.
