I have been a babysitter basketball coach in the past, so I have experience working with children and young adults, as well as college-aged students. I want to see students succeed and great writing and public speaking skills are key components to excelling in the classroom and out of the classroom!
While in law school, I was on the Law Review for two years. One of the requirements of being on Law Review was to write an extensively researched 45 page legal article. I was also a Senior Associate Editor for the Law Review where I was responsible for proofreading and editing all of the articles that were being published in the legal journal. In addition to editing legal and scholarly articles, I was a teaching assistant in law school for an ethics class. I was responsible for meeting with students to review their end of term papers and assist them in picking a topic for their papers. I also assisted the professor in the grading of term papers.
I have excelled in oral advocacy and have coached others on public speaking. I won several mock trial competitions in law school and mentored younger students interested in trial work. I have acted as a judge at mock trial competitions as well. After law school, I pursued a career as a trial attorney where I have enhanced my public speaking skills.
I am admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. I scored in the 99th percentile on the Uniform Bar Exam in 2018 and have helped classmates and friends with exam preparation.
