I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong academic foundation and a deep love for history. I earned my Master’s degree in Business from St. Joseph’s College, where I also cultivated a lifelong interest in historical analysis and critical thinking. In addition to my academic background, I hold a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in Social Science for grades 6–12 (FTCE), which qualifies me to teach a broad range of topics within the social studies discipline, with a special emphasis on history.
In the past, I spent three years tutoring middle and high school students in history and related social science subjects. I also provided academic support in business and finance, helping students grasp key concepts such as budgeting, economic principles, and financial literacy. My tutoring experience includes both one-on-one and small group settings, where I focused on making complex material accessible and engaging through discussion-based learning and real-world examples.
Whether working on historical topics like world wars, the U.S. Constitution, or major social movements—or on financial concepts such as supply and demand or personal budgeting—I strive to connect the content to students' everyday lives in meaningful ways. My goal is to help learners build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and succeed academically.
