I bring a strong academic foundation and hands-on tutoring experience to my work with students. I graduated among the top ten students of my high school class and went on to earn my degree from Boston College, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I am currently working full time while pursuing a master’s degree in accounting part time. I have been tutoring and mentoring students since high school. I was a tutor in my local library’s summer program and helped elementary students with math and English assignments. I also volunteered as a tutor to middle school children in underserved communities, where I helped with homework across all subjects. I am also comfortable tutoring high school and college-level courses in math, science, and humanities courses.
I adapt my tutoring approach to each student’s learning style, academic goals, and comfort level. I am caring, thoughtful, and highly organized when working with students. I believe that preparing for each session is critical, and I review material in advance to ensure our time together is focused and productive. In addition to helping students understand course content, I offer guidance on organization, time management, and effective study habits, including how to break down assignments, prepare for exams, and stay on top of schoolwork. My goal is not only to help students succeed in the moment, but also to equip them with skills and confidence they can carry forward in their academic and professional journey.
