My favorite subjects have always been reading and math. I love having the opportunity to interact with a young mind and guide them to higher levels. Seeing a child improve from one point to the next is always an amazing thing and I am glad that I am able to play a part.
I've had to introduce many different programs that focused on math which included statistics, finances and basic math tutoring.
Across the many sites I have worked at, literacy was always a component that was heavily stressed. During those times we would help students improve on their grammar, punctuation, etc.
Never be afraid to seek help and never feel bad for needing it. We all need help with something. We can push each other to be our very best.
