In pursuit of my Biology degree, I also have taken courses in Chemistry, Physics, Ecology and Statistics. I have done fieldwork and spent time in the laboratory. I have over 10 years of clinical and academic experience working in the field of Audiology. Training and mentoring students in the field of Communication Sciences is part of what I enjoy doing.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I always found life sciences interesting and pursed this degree because the classwork was engaging and helped me to see the world in a whole new way. I contributed to research and worked in a genetics lab for several years before changing my career focus.
I was inspired to obtain my doctorate in Audiology by professors and teachers who encouraged and supported me. During my career, I have taught seminars geared towards various audiences including doctors, staff, students and administrators. I've worked one and one with students as well as taught larger groups of 10-20 people. I have experience in pediatric and geriatric populations, as well as vestibular and electrophysiological testing.
I want to be a resource for students and use my experience to help answer your questions. Feel free to contact me for more information or to schedule an appointment.
