I am a university student pursuing a degree in computer science. I received the AP Calculus award from my high school for academic excellence. This award is the highest mathematics honor granted by my high school. In addition, I received an A+ in Calculus 2 at my univeristy. I am proficient in Physics (Mechanics), Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Algebra, Algebra 2, and Trigonometry. My instructional capability is derived from this academic performance and technical knowledge.
I have provided tutoring services through paid, volunteer, and peer based platforms. My experience includes both online and in person instruction. I have worked with students in one on one settings to improve their understanding of technical subjects. This experience encompasses several years of intermittent and consistent teaching. I have previously instructed students in computer science and currently focus on mathematics and physics.
My teaching method centers on direct explanation of core concepts. I provide instruction for the topics listed above. My approach prioritizes making concepts intuitive for students rather than having them solely memorize information. I want students to try problems and if they need assistance, I will help guide them in the right direction.
