For at least 15 years, I have tutored students in Scarsdale, mostly for Honors Chemistry. I have tutored students at the Regents Chemistry level and Advanced Chemistry level. I have been using the Kami program to work through problems while online with a Google Meet. Kami allows me to share all the notes from our session as a pdf for the students to keep.
I usually ask students who I tutor, what the topic is so I can prep for their session so that our meeting is efficient. Usually, we will review assignments that the students' teachers distribute.
Online tutoring has allowed for more flexible scheduling. It also easily allows for transfer of notes to the students.
