I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, which provided me with a strong foundation in child development, instructional strategies, assessment, and supporting diverse learners. My academic training focused on creating structured, student-centered learning experiences that support both academic growth and confidence.
I have experience providing online instruction and individualized academic support to elementary-aged students in both one-on-one and small group settings. I have worked primarily with students ages 3–10, helping them build foundational skills in early literacy, reading readiness, basic math concepts, and overall academic confidence. My teaching experience includes live virtual classes as well as personalized support tailored to each student’s learning pace and needs.
My tutoring approach is calm, structured, and student-focused. I break concepts into manageable steps, use repetition and visual supports when appropriate, and adjust instruction based on how each student learns best. I prioritize creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Positive reinforcement and clear expectations are central to my teaching style.
In addition to direct instruction, I help students strengthen important learning skills such as organization, attention, and study habits. I am particularly effective with students who benefit from consistency, patience, and clear explanations.
