I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a Biology minor from Berry College. My academic and research experience has equipped me to tutor in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and test prep subjects. I have worked in both academic and industrial lab settings, including a competitive NSF-funded REU at Georgia Tech and my current role in R&D at PepsiCo, where I apply analytical chemistry techniques such as HPLC and ICP-MS daily.

I have experience mentoring and teaching students in one-on-one and small-group academic settings. At Berry College, I co-led a seven-week undergraduate research project where I supported newer students in experimental design and data analysis using NIR spectroscopy. I also worked as a peer mentor and regularly helped students in chemistry and biology coursework. My approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and helping students connect concepts to real-world applications, especially in STEM subjects.
I am qualified to tutor ACT Math and ACT Science based on my strong standardized test performance and continued use of analytical reasoning in research and industry. I also offer elementary and middle school math support, drawing from volunteer experience helping younger students with foundational math concepts. I tailor my teaching to each student’s pace and learning style, and I am committed to making science and math accessible, engaging, and confidence-building for learners at all levels.
