I’m a Georgia Tech Computer Science graduate (BS/MS) and a professional software engineer with a strong foundation in advanced mathematics and structured problem-solving. I tutor high school and college students one-on-one in Algebra, Calculus, Discrete Math, Data Structures, and introductory programming, helping both students who feel behind and students who want to earn top grades. My goal is to make challenging material feel clear and manageable by explaining concepts from first principles and showing how they connect across problem types.

My approach is diagnostic and structured. Early on, I look for the “root cause” behind missed points—algebra fluency, translating word problems, understanding limits/derivatives, proof-style reasoning, recursion, or debugging. In sessions, we work step-by-step with active participation: I ask targeted questions, model a repeatable process, and then have you practice with guidance until the method clicks. I also focus on pattern recognition and mistake analysis so you learn quick checks that prevent common errors and build confidence under time pressure.

Between sessions, I’ll help you study efficiently with a simple plan (what to review, what to practice, and how to know you truly understand). If you’re looking for clear explanations, organized sessions, and strategies that lead to measurable improvement—not just completed homework—I’d be happy to help.

Approved Subjects

Basketball

Basketball

I played basketball for both my middle school and high school teams, where I developed strong fundamentals and a solid understanding of the game. In college, I continued playing frequently in recreational games and tournaments, which gave me even more experience in competitive settings. I primarily play point guard and shooting guard, so I am especially strong in ball handling, court awareness, decision-making, and shooting. One of my biggest strengths is my fast first step, which helps me create space, beat defenders, and attack the basket effectively.
Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering

I hold both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech. I also taught high school AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A, helping students build strong foundations in programming, computational thinking, and problem-solving. My background combines advanced academic training with real classroom teaching experience, which allows me to explain technical concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I help students strengthen their understanding, improve performance in class, and gain confidence in challenging computer engineering and computer science topics.
Computer Gaming

Computer Gaming

I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Georgia Tech, with a strong background in computing, programming, and digital technology. I also attended iD Tech camps in both high school and college, where I explored computer gaming, game-related technology, and interactive problem solving in a hands-on environment. That combination of formal academic training and practical experience helps me connect gaming interests with the technology behind them. I enjoy helping students engage with computer gaming in a way that is fun, thoughtful, and grounded in real technical understanding.
Computer Programming

Computer Programming

I hold both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and have professional experience as a software engineer. My background includes core programming topics such as Java, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, recursion, debugging, and problem solving. I am especially well-suited to help students who feel lost in programming courses because I focus on breaking concepts down step by step and making the logic behind the code clear. My tutoring approach is structured and practical. I help students strengthen fundamentals, trace through code carefully, understand why a solution works, and build confidence solving problems on their own. I can help with introductory programming, college-level Java, algorithms, and related coursework by focusing not just on getting the right answer, but on developing a reliable way of thinking through programming problems.
Computer Science

Computer Science

I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Georgia Tech, with strong training in computer science theory and application. I taught AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A at the high school level, helping students build programming skills, computational thinking, and confidence with AP coursework. My background allows me to support students in everything from foundational concepts to AP-level problem solving and exam preparation. I focus on making computer science clear, engaging, and approachable for students at different skill levels.
Data Structures

Data Structures

I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Georgia Tech, giving me a strong academic foundation in computer science and data structures. I also taught high school AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A, helping students build confidence in programming, problem-solving, and core computational thinking. My background allows me to explain topics such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and hash tables in a clear and approachable way. I focus on helping students understand both the theory and the practical coding applications of data structures.
Python

Python

I hold both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and have worked as a software engineer, including at quantitative trading firms. My Python background is especially strong in algorithms, data structures, debugging, and structured problem solving. I was historically rated Expert on Codeforces, reached USACO Gold, and am a top 1% LeetCode problem solver. I am particularly well suited to help students using Python for competitive programming because I focus not just on syntax, but on algorithmic pattern recognition, problem decomposition, and writing clean solutions under time pressure. My goal is to help students move from understanding code to solving contest problems independently.
React

React

I hold both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech and have strong experience building modern web applications with React. During my internship at LBi Software, I worked with both Angular and React, building frontend features and gaining hands-on experience with real-world software engineering workflows. I have also built multiple MERN stack applications and participated in several hackathons, including HackGT, Georgia Tech’s Hacklytics, and a Duke hackathon, where I collaborated in fast-paced teams to turn ideas into working products. My background teaching high school AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A helps me explain React clearly, from fundamentals to components, hooks, routing, APIs, and full-stack integration.
Tennis

Tennis

I played tennis throughout middle school and high school and competed as a varsity singles player. I also played in tournaments, which helped me build strong match experience, consistency, strategy, and mental toughness under pressure. In college, I continued developing my game by playing against club tennis players at Georgia Tech. My background allows me to help students improve fundamentals, match play, and confidence on the court.
