Hi, I'm Justin! I graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Mathematics. My academic background helped me develop a strong foundation in critical thinking and problem-solving, which I bring into every tutoring session.
I believe students learn best when guided toward understanding through thoughtful questions and timely support. I design lessons that introduce concepts incrementally, building confidence and mastery along the way. I tailor each session to the student’s needs—whether that means reviewing fundamentals, reinforcing classroom learning, or pushing ahead with new material.
I have 3 years of experience tutoring SAT Math, Algebra I & II, Geometry, and Chemistry. I also have 2 years of experience teaching AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Biology. I’ve worked with both individuals and small groups (up to six students), and I often create customized homework or practice problems to reinforce each lesson. I pay special attention to students who may be falling behind and help them take steps to stay on track and get ahead.
Currently, I’m a medical student, so I’m also familiar with the MCAT and medical school application process. I’m happy to support students preparing for standardized exams or looking for help navigating their pre-med journey. I’m also open to using any additional resources the student may want to explore.
Tutoring is most effective when it’s a collaborative effort. My goal is to help each student feel supported, challenged, and empowered to take ownership of their learning.
