About Me:
I am currently a part time graduate student at Cornell’s School of Engineering and an equipment engineer at a major firm in NYC. For undergrad, I gained admission into MIT (Early Action), Duke, CUNY Macaulay Honors College, 7 Ivy League Colleges, and was waitlisted at the 8th Ivy. I completed my bachelors degree at Harvard University where I studied Biomedical Engineering with minors in AfAm and Spanish Language. Since then, I have been tutoring international students applying to elite US universities and providing English language practice sessions. My most recent students have gained admission into competitive graduate programs at universities like Yale and Tufts.
I enjoy watching my students grow in their confidence and pushing them to spotlight the best version of themselves in their applications. For essay brainstorming I use a creative approach to answering prompts and weave in extended metaphors and literary devices to create poignant personal statements.
