I’m Zac, I graduated in 2019 from Nazareth College with two degrees, Communication Sciences & Disorders, and Spanish. I speak Spanish very well and confidently, but am still striving to learn even more. Through my own exploration of my foreign language I am prepared to support and challenge your student to achieve their own goals while studying Spanish.

I am passionate about learning language. I believe that as Spanish is the United States’ unofficial second language it is more important today to prepare everyone to begin working with people who speak different languages and come from different backgrounds. My undergrad studies taught me about how we learn language, and important strategies we can use to trick our brains into learning faster than in a classroom. I believe that getting to know your student and targeting the areas where they need support is the best strategy I have, all I can ask is when do I start?

I have studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and in Costa Rica. I have spoken Spanish for 9 years now. I’ve taught English to Spanish speakers and Spanish to English speakers at all levels, elementary, secondary, and college levels.

I have worked with children as young as 5 to as old as young adults who are on the spectrum. I have patience for those who need time to process information, change, and emotions. I understand that differences in processing does not equal a lack of understanding or willingness.
