I have been playing a musical instrument since second grade, starting with piano. I started playing viola in fourth grade and have been with it ever since. I started learning music theory and music history in high school. The Eastman School of Music is one of the best theory programs in the country and performance majors also become adamant in theory. I have learned about music history from the pre-Baroque era to the present time.
I currently am a violist based in Chicago. I am substitute viola with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Most recently, I have been invited to be Guest Principal Viola of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
