My name is Corrine and I am one of the original Microsoft Instructors in my area. I've been teaching Windows and MS Applications for over 22 years. In my career I've had the opportunity to teach high school students, college students, adults and seniors. No matter who my audience is, I am always excited to share my knowledge and love when learning takes place.

My career includes teaching at several computer training companies (on-line and in the classroom). Currently, I am teaching Microsoft classes through a local community college and for one of the nation’s largest on-line computer training companies. A particular skill I have is my ability to take complex information and present it in an easy to understand manner. I have also written a Train-the-Trainer course and am well aware of the differences in multi-generational learners as this is one of the topics in my course. I am also very aware of learning style differences, and am always sure to present material in a way that is appropriate for a given audience or student.

Today there is a real need for individuals to be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Most job postings will indicate that, and I’ve seen an uptick in college students pursuing training on these two particular applications. Although they have used Word, Excel (and PowerPoint) in high school and college, many have never had formal training on these products. Once they graduate, they soon learn that the casual use of these programs is not enough for what they’re going to need in their careers.

I welcome to the opportunity to work with you or your child, and am very passionate about what I do. I am considered an expert in my field, and am proud of the student evaluations and comments I receive. I almost always get perfect scores when rated by my students and receive glowing comments on a regular basis. I've been called a "Rockstar” and even had one student recently tell me they wanted a Staples "that was easy" button on their desk to press at the end of the training. They couldn't believe how I was able to help them understand some pretty complex information.

As one of the original Microsoft Instructors in my area, I started teaching with the very first release of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excel was actually black and white when I started teaching it and I've been teaching every level of every version ever since. I also teach an Excel Macros class for non-programmers (yes, you can record macros without knowing code!), and have even written articles on Excel for a national publication.

I have over 22 years of experience teaching Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Desktop Applications. I am considered an expert in my field, and I consult with companies on the use of these programs. So in addition to teaching these applications, I also get to see how they’re actually being used in the workplace, which enhances my ability to provide relevant training.

If you are interested in learning Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher or Visio, please contact me so we can chat about your needs. The training can be customized to any level learner from Beginning through Advanced. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a lesson, I am easy to reach through Wyzant, and will be sure to respond right away!

Great Excel/Microsoft Office Tutoring

We needed someone to come to our company to provide one-on-one support to some of our staff. We have plenty of staff who are great at using Microsoft office, we needed someone great at explaining it to a non-user. We highly recommend Corrine and this method of training.
