Dan provides an absolute arsenal of methods to help your student succeed. He uses strategy, plenty of practice tests, videos, and he can ACTUALLY teach! Finding a good math teacher is amazing and rare. He is so good that I will probably hang onto his info for my son if he needs a good tutor in college. Dan also means business. He understands that your time is money and doesn’t spend time talking about non material related stuff. This is something I noticed with other tutors. Dan conducts his tutoring with exceptional professionalism. He is prompt, cognizant of time, goals, and scheduling. While he is a professional, he balances his methods well with a relatable vernacular. I have listened to every one of his lessons with my son and he doesn’t approach tutoring by talking down to or shaming him, in fact, a couple of times he has made me laugh! My son has stated he feels far more prepared than he did with a previous tutor because of Dan.

SAT Tutoring

So far so good
I can give more specifics once we reach the finish line, but we are satisfied so far working with Dan. I think it's so great that he takes time outside of the lesson to give specific feedback on how it went, and what my son can be doing going forward, especially because he is not being paid for time outside of the lesson, so this is an added bonus for us. I feel hopeful that Dan can really help my son improve his score. Looking forward to seeing the end result!

Patience is a virtue
You do not have to text with Dan many times to learn that he is very intelligent and knows the material pertaining to prepping for the ACT. I was searching for someone with that talent and happy to have found Dan. I explained him that I knew that he had tutored many people to raise their ACT scores but could he be successful with a student that had ADHD and little dyslexia. That would require a lots of patience. Dan rose to the ocassion and exercised patience and understanding pertaining to the difficult situation we had with my grandson. I want to thank Dan he wss great and I would recommend him to anyone. Dan thank you for your help.

great SAT tutor
Dan was a great tutor and picked up perfectly where our last tutor left off. We were in a bind with losing our tutor just over a month before the SAT and Dan was able to help prepare Chris the week before. I plan on continuing to work with Dan to get Chris prepared for his next attempt at the test, very easy to work with and breaks things down for easy understanding. Plus provides good tips for navigating the exam. I cannot thank him enough.
