I worked as a mathematics tutor while getting my Masters degree. I then was an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Brockport for a semester. I have been working for 3 years at an online tutoring facility called Brainfuse Real-time tutoring and 4 years as an Instaedu/Chegg tutor. I have experience teaching a variety of mathematics topics; from Pre-algebra to topology. Most of the time, I help students work on their homework or review tests. I can also help explain the language of textbooks, how to use them, answer other questions you may have in your class, and I can create lessons for you on any mathematics topics, if you tell me what they are in advance. I hope to have fun in my sessions with you.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 is the basic language of math. You learn different ways to use variables as tools in simplifying relationships between numbers. I will help you answer questions, solve puzzles and translate from English to mathematics.
Calculus

Calculus

I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years. I regularly tutor in Calculus 1 to Multivariable calculus.
Differential Equations

Differential Equations

I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics. I have tutored in Mathematics for seven years. I have taken multiple Differential Equation courses for both my graduate and undergraduate degree.
Geometry

Geometry

Geometry is a subject describing how to prove systems from first principles and specifically relates to what we can prove about the measurement of space, as well as defining a language to do so. I will help you figure out the vocabulary and help you find the puzzle pieces that let you do the proofs and help you review the algebra needed to find answers.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

Linear algebra is the study of linear transformations, matrices, vectors and vector spaces. We learn the algebra of matrices and how these structures relate to the real world and how to manipulate and solve in these systems. I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years Linear Algebra being one of the subjects.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years.
Precalculus

Precalculus

Precalculus is a class on techniques to understand complex functions, graphs, and breaking down problems into simpler more manageable pieces. Personally, it is one of my favorite areas of mathematics. Complex problems are combined with learning about fundamental functions, their relationships to one another and what the models they represent mean for the real world.
Probability

Probability

I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years. Probability is the mathematics that measures certainty. we learn how to turn logic and sets of event and turn that into measurements of certainty that those events will occur.
Statistics

Statistics

Statistics and probability are two sides of the same coin. Probability is a mathematical way to measure uncertainty and statistics takes probability and translates that into values you can measure and statements you can have some certainty on. Statistics defines how we create estimations, how we can predict data from known values, and we can draw conclusions from the data we collect. We also can find why our conclusions might wrong or inaccurate.
Trigonometry

Trigonometry

Trigonometry is the study of the relationships between angles and the lengths of sides of shapes. It is my job to help you find the tools to comprehend those relationships. I will do that by reminding you of the basics in geometry and algebra, and helping you learn to find how that relates to the information you learn in class.

Knowledgeable and helpful

Very responsive to a short deadline for tutoring and gave helpful instruction. We will be possibly using them in the future for this class. I have been giving the recommendation to other students/parents to use Wyzant for their kids.

Knowledgeable and Explains Thoroughly

David was a great help and very accommodating with scheduling. He assists with questions one step at a time. He even scheduled an appointment for the next day without waiting a whole week. David also helps with the Master's Degree level if you're looking for someone more advanced. He taught me about an external website to help me with calculating the equation. Thank you so much.
