I have been working for 3 years at an online tutoring facility called Brainfuse Real-time tutoring and 4 years as an Instaedu/Chegg tutor. I have experience teaching a variety of mathematics topics; from Pre-algebra to topology. Most of the time, I help students work on their homework or review tests. I can also help explain the language of textbooks, how to use them, answer other questions you may have in your class, and I can create lessons for you on any mathematics topics, if you tell me what they are in advance. I hope to have fun in my sessions with you.

Statistics

Statistics

Statistics and probability are two sides of the same coin. Probability is a mathematical way to measure uncertainty and statistics takes probability and translates that into values you can measure and statements you can have some certainty on. Statistics defines how we create estimations, how we can predict data from known values, and we can draw conclusions from the data we collect. We also can find why our conclusions might wrong or inaccurate.

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I have a masters degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. I have a bachelors in mathematics from Roberts Wesleyan College. I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years.
Algebra 2,

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 is the basic language of math. You learn different ways to use variables as tools in simplifying relationships between numbers. I will help you answer questions, solve puzzles and translate from English to mathematics.
Calculus,

Calculus

I have tutored as a Graduate Assistant at the college level for one and a half years. I have taught as an adjunct professor for a semester. I have tutored online for seven years. I regularly tutor in Calculus 1 to Multivariable calculus.
Geometry,

Geometry

Geometry is a subject describing how to prove systems from first principles and specifically relates to what we can prove about the measurement of space, as well as defining a language to do so. I will help you figure out the vocabulary and help you find the puzzle pieces that let you do the proofs and help you review the algebra needed to find answers.

Precalculus,

Precalculus

Precalculus is a class on techniques to understand complex functions, graphs, and breaking down problems into simpler more manageable pieces. Personally, it is one of my favorite areas of mathematics. Complex problems are combined with learning about fundamental functions, their relationships to one another and what the models they represent mean for the real world.

Easy going and patient!

David is a really good and patient tutor! I really enjoyed our session! I feel as though he has simplified everything that we have gone over in my statistics class!

Last minute appointment

David schedule an appointment for me at the very last minute. David stayed up until almost mid-night tp help me with my homework. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Sandy, 4 lessons with David

Knowledgeable and very understanding

Hes patient and answers questions when youre confused. The tool that the website provides isn't that great but he tried his best to make it work. Definitely will recommend for anyone who is interested, pricing is fair although, for some college student may be inconvenient. Overall, great tutor!

Aanisah, 1 lesson with David

1st session

David was able to walk me through the lesson and I was able to gain a better understanding of the work. He was patient with me asking questions and he allowed me to work out some of the problems on my own.

Hilda, 12 lessons with David

Very Knowledgeable!

David is amazing! My daughter is taking a probability/stats class in Singapore and her professor speaks very little English, she was so lost. I wasn't sure how a tutor from here would be able to work with her half way around the world but I had nothing to worry about - it all worked out. My daughter has completed two lessons with David and I received a text from her saying that she feels so much more confident and is understanding the material. David knows his stuff. The platform he uses is user friendly and my daughter is able to download the notes and watch the lessons with David again and again if she gets lost while doing problems on her own.

Mona, 6 lessons with David

Very patient and understanding!

I haven't used algebra in about 45 years. Dave made it easy to ask from my point of view, some stupid questions. I left my first lesson feeling like I could really like math and not be afraid of it.

seems the system crashed

hi im nicholas, we have class in 3:45. but the message function seems to be crashed. can you see me here?? my gmail is nicholasgrachev@gmail.com, pls email me if theres no way to text me

Yuchong, 10 lessons with David

Very helpful - covered what was needed. Very knowledgeable.

David answered Linear Algebra questions that I was having trouble with in a clear way so that I could understand and taught me even more. I aim to have more lessons with him before my exams.

Rhi, 4 lessons with David

Knowledgeable and patient

Helped me with Laplace and the pre reqs needed. He would ask me after every few steps if I understood the material. He understood the material and would use the time efficiently
