I graduated magna cum laude from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering and a minor in Spanish. In my eight years of experience as an electrical engineer I have discovered a passion for mentoring younger engineers and students. I have a year of experience tutoring Algebra 1 and I am interested in helping students through all levels of math and science. I have taken classes in Calculus, ordinary and partial differential equations, and linear algebra as well as college level biology, physics, and chemistry.
I took 10 years of Spanish culminating in my Spanish minor and would love to help students discover the language. My lifelong love of reading and study in linguistics have also inspired me to help students learning to read. I spent a lot of time helping my younger sister, who is dyslexic, develop her reading skills. I hope to help others learn these skills and discover the joys of reading.
