I am a rising sophomore at the University of Rochester with a 4.0 STEM GPA and a passion for helping students succeed in challenging courses. I earned a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1580 on the SAT, and I specialize in SAT/ACT preparation as well as biology, chemistry, calculus, physics, and MATLAB.
At the University of Rochester, I have earned top grades in introductory biology, general chemistry, MATLAB, Calculus I, and Calculus II. I also earned a 5 on the AP Biology exam and received my high school's Highest Achievement Award in Physics, reflecting a strong foundation across the STEM subjects I teach.
In addition to my academic background, I have experience supporting students in both one-on-one and classroom settings. I have tutored introductory biology and currently serve as a teaching assistant for Introductory Biology and MATLAB. As part of my TA appointments, I completed CASC 352: College Teaching Assistantship, a University of Rochester course focused on evidence-based teaching, facilitating student learning, effective communication, and creating inclusive learning environments. I also participate in teaching workshops for both courses, allowing me to continually strengthen my instructional skills and better support students.
