Bio

I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics, and completed four years in Air Force ROTC. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics, and completed four years in Air Force ROTC. I enjoy helping people learn and grow their knowledge, and I am looking to expand my experience as a tutor and mentor.

I have two years of experience as a Mechanical Designer at an MEP engineering firm, where I was promoted to Mechanical Design Lead after 14 months. I take the lead on HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, system design, and producing fully designed construction documents in AutoCAD from start to finish. I've also earned my Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and will be eligible to sit for my Professional Engineer (PE) license exam in two years.

Over the past two summers, I have guided college interns through one-on-one sessions, teaching them core engineering principles and day to day responsibilities of a mechanical designer. I look forward to bringing that same approach to tutoring and helping students build real understanding.

I am looking to tutor basic engineering courses and up through freshman college-level mathematics. This includes Algebra 1 & 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, Thermodynamics, Combustion Engines, Statics, and Strengths of Materials.

Approved Subjects

AutoCAD

AutoCAD

Over the past two years, I have used AutoCAD daily as a Mechanical Designer at an MEP engineering firm, drafting mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection construction documents. I work with layers, blocks, and xrefs to keep drawings organized and coordinated across trades, and I build out full drawing sets including plan views, details, and schedules. I take projects from the early design phase all the way through completed, construction-ready documents
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a strong focus in mathematics, strength of materials, and thermodynamics. Through my coursework I built a solid foundation in these subjects that I apply directly in my career every day. Over the past two years as a Mechanical Designer at an MEP engineering firm, I have applied core engineering principles in real world HVAC system design, load calculations, and equipment selection.
Solidworks

Solidworks

During my internship at General Motors, I designed a furnace rack system in SolidWorks used to hold hybrid car cooling pipe components during the brazing process, taking the design from concept through a completed, functional part. Beyond my professional experience, I have designed and 3D printed numerous parts from scratch, seeing each project through from initial design all the way to a finished prototype and working product. Some of my personal projects include speaker wall mounts, hearing aid battery-holding keychains, and a variety of household parts, all designed in SolidWorks and brought to life through 3D printing.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a strong focus in mathematics, strength of materials, and thermodynamics. Through my coursework I built a solid foundation in thermodynamic principles including heat transfer, energy systems, and fluid mechanics that directly translate into real world HVAC engineering. Over the past two years as a Mechanical Designer at an MEP engineering firm, I have applied these principles daily in HVAC system design, heating and cooling load calculations, and mechanical equipment selection.
