Hey, I’m Markie! I’m a professional black and grey artist focused on creating original, freehanded artwork. I specialize in realism, lettering, and chicano style art. After graduating high school and attending my first two semesters of college, I began my first apprenticeship in the tattoo industry. I’ve now been tattooing for fifteen years, and have owned and operated a private tattoo studio for the past six years.

After years of being mentored as an apprentice, developing my craft as an artist and impacting many lives through tattooing - I’m very excited to begin my journey as a tutor. I welcome artists of all skill levels and experiences! My focus is strictly black and grey artwork - graphite and digital drawings. My goal is to help other artists develop their fundamental and advanced skills, and personal style. I’ve learned and developed my skill set in various ways while studying my profession, and through years of constantly developing and improving my craft. I’ve been blessed to share myself as an artist with people of all ages and walks of life. I’m very passionate about giving back, helping other artists learn to express themselves and give back as well. My approach will vary with each artist, depending on their personal preferences, goals, levels of experience, and development pace.
