I am a radiology resident at a large academic center. My journey began at a US osteopathic school, where I excelled academically, scoring a 746 on the COMLEX Level 2 and a 265 on the USMLE Step 2. COMLEX Level 3 score is 910, or 99.9th percentile. I also achieved a 516 on the MCAT and completed the Canadian MCCQE with 274 and NAC OSCE with a 632. My academic achievements have been recognized through induction into both the academic and humanistic honor societies at my school. I hold a master's degree in computer science from McGill University in Montreal.

My experience as a tutor began in high school, where I volunteered to help students from challenging homes. I found satisfaction in seeing my peers excel academically. During medical school, I led a large peer study group, fostering collaboration and shared learning. I thrive on breaking down complex concepts and guiding students through the intricacies of the material, focusing not only on the content but also on effective strategies for approaching questions and determining what is most relevant. This approach has proven successful, as I've helped numerous students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

I am particularly comfortable tutoring for USMLE and COMLEX Step 1 and 2, as well as the Canadian MCCQE. My tutoring repertoire extends to various medical school subjects, shelf examinations, and essential medical topics, including EKG interpretation from basic to moderate complexity. I believe that a strong grasp of foundational knowledge is crucial, and I aim to equip my students with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of medical education effectively.

In addition to academic tutoring, I am eager to assist students with their residency applications. I have been fortunate to interview for many locations including the Cleveland Clinic and Baylor. Matching my first choice for both my transitional year and radiology residency shows my understanding of the application process and what programs look for in candidates.
