PA-C with Years of Tutoring Experience

Hi, I'm Eve! This past summer, I graduated summa cum laude from PA school and passed the PANCE to become a board certified PA-C. I have been tutoring students since I was a freshman in college, and I love helping students feel confident in their knowledge while improving their grades! I personally feel that having extra support academically can make all the difference, especially in difficult majors such as the health sciences. It's even more beneficial when the extra support comes from someone who has been exactly where you are! And as someone who recently graduated from PA school, currently works in multiple clinical roles, and tutors numerous students in every stage of their academic careers, I have a unique perspective that I bring to study sessions with my students.

The first thing I always chat with my students about is how they're studying. In the health sciences, finding the right ways to study can make a huge difference in learning. During tutoring sessions, I make sure to incorporate multiple study techniques including repetition, active recall, creating mnemonics, visualization, and more. But even more important to me is that students end our time together feeling more capable of studying (and succeeding!) on their own.
