I'm patient and willing to meet students where they are at, and challenge them in ways that engage their critical thinking rather than stiffen it through rushed learning and stressful workloads. I have a solid understanding of academic anxieties, triggers, and shortcomings that burden many students, particularly as school itself remains in such influx! Once we establish trust and support as not only tutor and student but as peers, exploring new information and texts together becomes interactive and impactful.
I graduated from San Francisco State University with a double BA in English Literature & Comparative World Literature and have an in depth comprehension of modern literature, pedagogy, and language. I passed my Masters in Contemporary Literature, Culture, & Theory with Distinction and have the ability to produce publishable research-level writing.
