I have been fortunate enough to work full time as a professional performer/educator since obtaining a degree in Jazz Performance from Temple University in 2014. I am very active on the music scene, and as an educator in the NYC area, with over 9 years of private teaching experience, and I recently obtained my Master's Degree in Music from The City College of New York

I firmly believe that lessons should be catered towards the unique musical goals of the individual. I take pride in finding new ways to teach proper fundamentals and habits in new students, that will ensure long-term success on their instrument and allow them to have fun along the way.

Great initial lesson

Took my first lesson for flute from Andrew. He was extremely courteous, understanding, and patient. He gave me a very good start showing me how to blow into the flute to get a sound, which is very difficult for a beginner. I recommend him highly. My only word of advice: if you meet with Andrew in his studio, you'll need his cell phone number to get into the studio, which has a locked door with no doorbell. Make sure to get his cell phone number before you go!
