But all software and even camera equipment aside, we are living in times where the best technology is already in the palm of our hand, Execution only takes commitment to do what you dream - but in every execution there is a myriad of ways that an idea sparks intellectual and emotional connection for an audience.
My philosophy to teaching storytelling is a volley between technical lessons and theoretical exploration via exercises with the technology. Also, it's vital to be exposing yourself to art, books, media content, music, real life(!), etc in order to grow how ideas are shaped and discovered, so expect a nice spectrum of other influences to color your ideas.
